To The One That Has Endless Love For Me

"Seek the LORD and his strength; Seek HIS presence continually." 1 Chronicles 16:11. 

To the one that has always had endless LOVE for me.  

When I was 8, my grandma died from cancer. I didn't know her well, but I have always had a tender heart. My mom was saddened by her loss and I was sad for her. I didn't know why you would make my mom sad but you did. Shortly after, I realized, that you didn't "make" my grandma die, you allowed her to take her natural course of life. There is a difference. I know that now.

I am learning more about you everyday.

When I was 12, you gave me the ability to see the world in a new light. My friend passed away, and it changed my relationship with you forever. I was mad at you, I was confused by you, I didn't feel that I loved you any longer. BUT, one thing that didn't change after her passing, was the love that you held for me. I became to realize that life isn't always going to be beautiful, but it is worth it if you get to meet wonderful, lively people throughout it. 

I am learning more about you everyday. YOU have loved me endlessly. 

When I was 14, I saw my grandpa take his last breath. It seemed peaceful, and he wanted to go. It wasn't as scary for me as it probably would have been for any other typical 14 year old girl. Probably, because I could feel your presence with me through it all. First the short breaths, then none at all. It made me question why we are here on earth and what the point to our lives are if they are going to all end one day.

I am learning more about you everyday. YOU have loved me endlessly. You're presence in my life has always protected me. 

When I was 18 I got to go on Kairos. A Catholic retreat. It is there where I realized that you did love me, and that you really are going to be there for me no matter the time of day. YOU will be there for me. YOU are my person to talk to even when I don't always feel your presence. 

I am learning more about you everyday. YOU have loved me endlessly. You're presence has always protected me. You are my strength. 

Throughout my whole life, the evil one would always try to get to me, he still does. No matter how many false thoughts go through my mind about myself or others, I know they are lies and that the only TRUTH in the world comes from you and you alone.

When I was 20, my second niece was born. I was asked to be the God mother, which shocked me. I am a sinner, and I am not perfect. However, I am learning that you do not have to be perfect or sinless to be a good person and to desire you. I am seeking you Lord, now and always. 

I am learning more about you everyday. YOU have loved me endlessly. You're presence has always protected me.You are my strength. You are true. I am seeking You.
