New Introduction
Hey Guys!
I haven't done an introduction post in like 2 years! I thought it was time for an update.
I am trying to live my life to the fullest! I am learning more and more about myself daily and am so proud of how far I have come. In full disclosure, life can be super, not fun at times! If you are anything like me, though, you realize there is more to life than just the bad parts. Thank God!
I am so close to getting my bachelor's in applied human behavior so I can work in the mental health field and am so excited and passionate about it! God is using me in ways I have never expected. Growing up, I have always felt that I was meant to serve others. Whether that be with my words, with children, the elderly, young adults, etc. I love to help others and always have. Such a blessing to know that God is watching over me as I grow.
I am an aunt to four little girls and a busy buddy boy and I love them all beyond measure. They mean the world to me. I am not a mom and do not know what a mom's love feels like. BUT I do know what an aunt's love feels like and it is pretty darn special! I feel so blessed to have them in my life.
I have grown myself up so much these past three years and seriously could not feel prouder of myself. I am so looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me. However, as I have said before, life can be kinda crappy at times, ha! I think it's just part of growing up though, you know? I am learning that life wasn't meant to be perfect, it was meant to be lived. So the important thing is to not give up on yourself. Keep the faith that you need to move on and grow the way you were always meant to.
A phrase that has been stuck in my head for the past couple of months is: You are where you belong. How fun is that to think about? You are not behind, you are right where God needs you. In the midst of pain, this can be so hard to believe, but what if he is using your pain for a greater purpose? I can assure you, this is almost always the case!
I wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you who has stuck with me these past couple of years. I hope you are finding the things I say relatable and realizing that you are not alone in all your feelings. Lastly, I wanted to say thank you, because we are almost up to 3,000 views on my blog! How amazing is that?! THANK YOU for all of your support!
Remember that you are worthy of healing. You are worthy of love and forgiveness.
P.S. My next post is going to be on Forgiveness and For giving. Get it? :)
What a life we get to live. Enjoy it!
Maggie
